You are a STAR!

Hello November- in anticipation of Christmas now just around the corner, I am thinking of stars and trees to decorate our Christmas Village... With origami still on my mind, I found these two delightful patterns, that are 3D. You can hang them, place on cards or can stand on their own, (tree).

I made them in different sizes as I will have hang some in our windows ( stars) and add to the village.

This tree pattern can stand up or be glued down to card stock.
I found these pretty silver stock at Michaels, a package of 40 for less than $15.00  Added some shellys buttons and with a personal note on back of card will make for some interesting sends this year...

Gift buttons are perfect along with some star buttons..
( glue dots are perfect to use for the trees, to slip into one another
and to glue onto card stock)

Merry Christmas, using different stock paper, you can make a colourful tree.

There are countless Origami Trees out there, this one is my fav video because it can be used on a card or standing in a Christmas Village...Mine will be used for both..

Add a bow from last weeks post and some santa buttons to be found under the tree

I adore plaids for Christmas, traditional and classic.

Now these stars I loved, so simple yet look some complicated...

These were made from 4 inch squares only.  I have made them with six inch squares too, perfect for our windows...Add some string, punch a hole inside the star, before you glue together and you have some very economical decore.

Here is the simplest video to make some stars...

                                                                   because you matter
