Master -Bibs ( for the boys)

Years ago, and I mean a few decades, you only saw buglets ( babies) with nighties and rompers or what we used to call a Layette. A layette is what we call a baby's first wardrobe. Today I can't help but notice, newborns are wearing denim jeans and little sweat shirts and grown up dresses. And although I find them all so adorable, I miss the days when you saw babies with caps and bonnets. Call me old fashion I guess. Their first few months go so quickly, it is nice to see them as wee babies. I use to make flannel nighties for many of my friends, I would top them off with some embroidery and smocking. ( gathered stitches). They were open in the back and made it easy to change diapers and keep them from overheating if in summer and in winter, the flannel was just so soft with wee baby knitted sets. ( bonnets, and booties)

Buglets ( what I call babies)  just mush my heart. So many new additions added to our world. I thought it is time to design some simple bibs... Today it is for the Master ( boys) next week Missy ( for girls)  I wanted to capture all the seasons and I made some in some flannel that I had on hand.

Creating things for Buglets is my thing and with some added buttons from https://shellysbuttonsandmore.com/  they just add a little more character. By the way, they are colorfast and will take repeated washes.  ( buttons that is).

And my wee buglet model is so lifelife, you just want to squeeze him to bits. ( this week he is a boy)

I love two tone so with some extra fabric joining top and bottom you end up with a unique look. Add a bow and buttons well, you can see for yourself...

You can never go wrong with small black and white bib, this one is in flannel front and back with some truck buttons and a heart.
And of course a wee bow added to remind you he is a boy.
Formal in an informal way!
( this bib is the same pattern, I just enlarged it, so two sizes available for this pattern)

and can we possibly forget a Halloween theme one completed with pumpkin buttons

and for some spring summer fishing, some fish buttons
Fish Buttons found here and some Baubles  ornaments that I added under his chin.

There you have it, some awful cute Master Bibs for our boys
next week will introduce you to the Missys Bibs for our wee girls.

As always our patterns are $3.00 each with your order of $20.00
of buttons....

let us know how we can do better...
because you matter..
