Holidays just don't seem to come to life unless you are sharing it with others. This pillow, the size of 3 king size pillows all put togeher is one of my favourite projects of the season.
It is quite simple actually.
You cut out 3 different sizes of houses...
Print and cut out different sizes, place on some fabric and cut....
Add to a background of fabric and stitch around the edges.
I purchased some fur boas at Michaels, and trimmed and glued
to the rooftops..
I added many of shellys butons using snowflakes, gingham buttons , white Christmas tress, and candy canes..
Using the same shapes above but not roofs, I added black windows and doors..Voila a Christmas Pillow...
I love the combination of greens and yellows with red for a holiday theme. all on a black background,
Shellys buttons were perfect for snowflakes in the night sky...
Mr Iced Snowman looked lonely so I made him a Mrs. if only it were that simple, bringing people to life from a sewing studio.
With beloved wishes for a holiday season that has you grateful for all the little things...
