I had shared last week that I have a few Mannequins, ( dress forms) in a variety of sizes...Well here is another, approx 18 inches tall, and this one I designed it into a table tree.
With a garland string, some glue dots, shellys Christmas buttons, some battery mini lights, some gingham ribbon, a piece of fur, ( optional) you could use some fabric or the cuff of a sock...
Introducing Bells!
Here are the steps on how to make one of your own. First you will need a tall Mannequin, ( dress form) I found most of mine at Home Sense, ( Home Goods, American affiliate) paid less than $15.00. Mini lights I found at our local hardware store, they were $5.00, the garland and ribbon and buttons I already had....
also...( glue dots or glue gun, pipe cleaners to attach garland branches)
If you are not using a garland that does not have wire branches, cut some pipe cleaners in 3, and in green (optional) tie them onto the form. I started from the bottom and worked my way to the top. My branches were about 6 inches in length and I cut them with some wire cutters.
Still missing some detail, so let's continue...
I cut 24 inches of some gingham ribbon to place as a trailing bow behind the tree ( dress), and this white piece of fur for her top. The fur piece, I had a 12 inch piece ( cut in half) and I just adhered it with some glue dots.
I had a Bells Button, so this was a perfect addition to her top.
I just ordered some snow in a can, I will certainly spray the tips of the branches when it arrives, will update with a photo later.
Next week, I have another Dress Form for another feature, stay tuned.
